As posições no futebol e suas especificidades.

Resumo

Introdução: A forma das equipes jogarem e se distribuírem em campo é algo muito estudado atualmente, entretanto, as variadas disposições táticas das equipes provocaram o surgimento de novas  denominações  para  as  posições  no  campo  de  jogo,  que  devem  ser  identificadas  e caracterizadas.

Objetivo: Identificar e classificar as posições no campo de jogo desempenhada pelos jogadores de futebol, a fim de unificar a nomenclatura utilizada para cada uma delas.

Metodologia: Utilizou-se método empírico-analítico. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a nomenclatura utilizada para definir as posições dos jogadores de futebol, tomando como base livros e artigos da área somente no idioma português.

Resultados: O posicionamento dos atletas no futebol determinam sua função no campo de jogo, normalmente  associada  ao  sistema  tático  utilizado  pela  equipe.  Encontrou-se  na  literatura diversas  denominações  para  as  posições  dos  atletas,  entretanto  com  poucas  definições  e classificações.  Foi  proposto  uma  unificação  da  terminologia  para  melhor  compreensão  das posições até então pouco exploradas na literatura. Têm-se como proposta de nomenclatura no setor de defesa: Goleiro, Zagueiro, Líbero e Lateral; no setor de armação: Volante, Ala, Meia de contenção, Meia de armação, Meia extremado e Meia atacante; e no setor ofensivo: Atacante recuado, Atacante de beirada e Atacante de área.

Conclusões: Devido a variedade de sistemas táticos utilizados, e as várias funções ofensivas e defensivas  em diferentes  setores  e  lados  do  campo  que  os  atletas  de  futebol  realizam, foi proposta  uma  nomenclatura  considerando  as  possibilidades  táticas  desempenhadas  por  um jogador em campo. É possível classificá-las em três grandes grupos conforme o setor do campo de principal atuação do atleta, sendo eles de defesa, armação e ofensivo, os quais possuem diferentes subdivisões.

Introduction: The way teams play and distribute themselves on the field is very currently studied, however, the varied tactics provisions of the teams led to the emergence of new names for positions on the playing field, which should be identified and characterized.

Objective: To identify and classify the positions on the playing field played by soccer players to unify the nomenclature used for each.

Methods: Was used empirical-analytical method. A literature review was conducted about the nomenclature used to define the positions soccer players, based on books and articles in the area, only Portuguese language.

Results: The positioning of athletes in soccer determine its function on the playing field,  usually associated with the tactics used by the team. It was found in the literature different names for the positions of athletes, however with a few definitions and classifications. A unification of terminology to better understanding of the positions hitherto little explored in the literature was proposed. There have as naming proposal in the defense sector: Goalkeeper, Central Defender, Sweeper and Wing Back;  in  the  middle:  Defensive  Midfielder,  Wing  Back,  Central  Midfielder,  Playmaker,  Side Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder; and offensive sector: Defensive Forward, Winger and Advanced Forward.

Conclusions: Due to the variety of tactical systems used, and the various offensive and  defensive functions in different sectors and sides of the field that the soccer players perform, we proposed a nomenclature considering the tactical possibilities performed by a squad. Can be classify them into three groups according to the sector of activity of the athletes in the game, and they defense, middle and offensive, which has different subdivisions.
